Selection wand
To create a selection:
- Press the
Use Item / Place Block
button on any block with the Far Selection Wand in your hand. This will set that block as the first position of the selection.- Adjust the size of your selection by looking and moving around.
- Press the
Use Item / Place Block
button on another block or position in the air to set the second position of the selection.A white box will now appear, showing your selection. You can now make edits on your selection using another item, like: Selection Fill or Copy.
You can adjust your selection by pressing
Use Item / Place Block
on a face you wish to adjust and moving in the direction you wish to adjust it in.

To create a selection:
- Press the
Attack / Destroy
button on any block with the Selection Wand in your hand. This will set that block as the first position of the selection.- Press the
Use Item / Place Block
button on another block to set the second position of the selection.A white box will now appear, showing your selection. You can now make edits on your selection using another item, like: Selection Fill or Copy.

button while not looking at a block. This will set the position to where you are standing. Useful for setting positions in mid-air.

The Ruler item is used to display information about your current selection. It can also place down marker blocks to help you space out your designs.
To use the Ruler item:
- Create a selection using the Selection Wand.
- Press the
Use Item / Place Block
button while holding the Ruler item.- Select how many markers you want to see using the slider
- Press submit
You will now see the volume of your selection and the block width, length and depth displayed on screen along with the selected number of marker blocks in your selection

- Pick a block you would like to use with the Block Picker.

Use Item / Place Block
button while holding the Selection Fill item.Your selection will now be filled with your picked block.

To use the Selection Outline item:
- Create a selection using the Selection Wand.
- Press the
Use Item / Place Block
button with the Replace item in your hand- Pick a block you would like to use with the Block Picker.
- Select a block you would like to replace with the Mask Picker.
- Press the
Use Item / Place Block
button with the Green Tick item in your handYour selected blocks will now be replaced with your picked block.

- Create a selection using the Selection Wand.
- Pick a block you would like to use with the Block Picker.

Use Item / Place Block
button while holding the Selection Outline item.The edges of your selection will now be filled with your picked block, creating a wall with no ceiling or floor.

To use the Selection Move item:
- Create a selection using the Selection Wand.
- Face the direction you would like to move your selection.
- Press the
Use Item / Place Block
button while holding the Selection Move item to open an options menu.- Move the
Amount
slider to the distance in blocks you would like your selection to move.- Press the
Submit
button.Your selection will now be moved by the amount you set in the direction you are facing.

<aside> <img src="/icons/warning_red.svg" alt="/icons/warning_red.svg" width="40px" /> Selections cannot be moved into unloaded chunks. You can maximise the range of the Selection Move item by standing between your selection and where you would like your selection to move.
